| Dear my future host family , I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my letter . Ever since I was very little , I have always dreamed of studying abroad and discovering new things in other parts of the world , now my dream is going to come true. First of all I would like to introduce myself , my name is Daniela , I live in a flat with my mother whose name is Helena , I see my dad whose name is Fabian two weekends each month , I have a sister named Sofia who has 23 years so she is now studying engineering while she works as a waitress . I love spending time with all of them, watching films or playing board games are my favorites activities to do with my family. Let me tell you something about my personality, I consider myself to be withdrawn , cheerful , really talkative , friendly and hardworking with my studies . However , sometimes i am stubborn and clumsy, but I am working on it. Regarding to my interests and hobbies , I enjoy a lot cooking , especially desserts , I love traveling to different countries of the world , I also like going shopping with my mother or with my friends and I have fun doing crafts . I remember a memorable trip to Punta Cana with my family in which I had a great time and we all did many activities together such as diving around the coral reefs . I expect going to the USA gives me a lot of opportunities such as making new friends , getting to now more about different cultures , being more independent from my family and improving my English . I hope that the language and cultural barrier won’t prevent us from coming closer . I believe it would be a wonderful and an unforgettable year.
