LETTER FROM Francisco

Francisco

Hello future host family,

My name is Francisco, but almost everybody calls me Curro to differentiate me from my father. I was born in a city in the South of Spain.

I live in a small town near Madrid, with two pets: a cat (called Happy) and a dog (called Tyron). I like playing with them so much, and give them a lot of love. I also live with my mother, whose name is Isabel, with my stepfather, whose name is Javier, and with my three stepsisters: the eldest, who is the one who inspired me to go to the United States, is called Claudia, the middle one is called Andrea, and the little one is called Lucia.

I am a sociable, friendly, extroverted and empathic boy. I like to share experiences with my friends and family. The activities that I like to do with my friends are going to the bowling alley and from time to time going to the park. With my family I like to go skiing, we go from time to time to a city called Sierra Nevada, we also like to go Cruising, this summer we have gone to Venice, Bali, San Torini and Mykonos.

My favourite sport is soccer. I play it five times a week and I love it. I play in a football team of my town. I usually play as a defender but I can also play as a winger and in all midfield positions. I played since I was little, but I have been playing again for 2 years.

I’m really excited to live this exchange experience because I hope to meet new people, learn a lot about how life is lived in other places, and of course, show how I live in my country.

The idea of this experience, as I said before, was Claudia, my older sister, and I think you have to choose me because: I have experience, sisters who have done it before and because I love talking and spending time with you.

Thanks for reading my letter and opening your home to me.

Francisco
