Thank you for your kindness and hosting me, it’s very generous to offer me this opportunity. I hope I can show you some different aspects of my culture as much as I hope to learn from yours.
Well, let us start talking about my family. I live with my parents my brother and my little sister (and of course with the best dog ever). My father is a businessman and my mother works as a university teacher. They are sometimes strict, nevertheless, we have a very good communication and most of the time we are laughing. My brother, although we argue sometimes, we get along really good and my sister that we don’t usually get angry but sometimes I despair because when I am studying or doing something she doesn’t stop talking, however, I love her so much and always I can, I play with her (I love children).
I study in a big educational center because it has all the educational stages, from three years to eighteen and it also has a University Center for people who want to become teachers, thanks to this we do a lot of activities and trips. I like school and I consider myself a responsible student. I also like to be with my friends at school
When we have the best time is on holidays. On summer we often look for somewhere near the sea, so my father my brother and I do scuba diving (my favorite sport by far) and on winter we often go to the nearest ski station.
The activities I do are MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) twice a week, for one hour and a half, HITS (High Intensive Technical Sport) is similar to CrossFit but without weights. All of these activities help me to relax and to concentrate on my studies. These are the sports activities I do weekly, but in my free time I love doing some different things like climbing, canyoning, hiking … Of course, I do all these activities with my father and with my brother and sometimes with my mother. My father is a really athletic person, in fact, he is who encourages us to try new things and then is my mother, she also likes watching us doing different things but as a mother, she is often worried because almost everything sounds dangerous for her.
As I told you before, I love doing new things, that is why I would love to go to the US and learn about all the different things compared to what I usually do, because my brother was an exchange student for a year and he has told me a lot of amazing things.
I know that I’m going to miss my family and of course, all the days with my Spanish friends laughing and talking about things, but I’m sure that it’s going to worth it and I’m going to make lots of new friends.
See you soon.
