LETTER FROM Quang

Quang

My name is Quang. I write this letter to say thank you for giving me the opportunity to experience an exchange student’s life. Also, I would like to introduce a little about myself and my family in Vietnam so that you can know who to expect in the future.

About my personalities, I am funny, sociable and love meeting new people. I often spends a lot of time reading books, listening to English music I think they help improve my English skills. I addition, I also attends English center and participate actively in extracurricular activities such as charity works or community works. My favorite singers are Taylor Swift and the Maroon 5 band. They are very cool.

I am currently studying at grade 9 at a High School for the Gifted. My favorite subject is English. I always have an excellent English result. My parents and I were very proud of it. In class, I have a lot of friends, boys and girls. They are very nice and friendly to me. We usually hang out in the weekends to go to the mall or a coffee shop. Spending time with them is very relaxing and fun.

There are four people in my family: my father, my mother, my brother and me. All of us sometimes go to the restaurant to eat seafood and then we talk about our work of the week or go home to watch TV together. I usually help my mom to do chores and prepare dinner. I love helping my parents because I know that they are very tired after a long day of work, so I do what I can to give they have time to relax.

The reason that I want to study abroad in the U.S is because I want to learn about American culture, improve my knowledge and skills in English, and make friends with people. I hope to have more friends in other culture so that I can learn about their traditions and share mine with them. Therefore, I will try my best when arriving in America. I promise behave well and will not do anything to make you guys upset. Maybe, I can even help you cook some Vietnamese meals in the future.

Finally, thank you very much for reading my letter. I am looking forward to meeting you.
