Hello dear host family,

I’m Valentina, I am a very extrovert person and I like to meet new people, although sometimes in English I find it a bit difficult, but I am getting better at it. I am also a bit sensitive, and I consider myself a very empathetic person.

I have no siblings, but I have two step sisters older than me, also I don’t have any pets, but I always ask my mother if we can have a dog, but she doesn’t let me have one. I have many hobbies, I love to play volleyball since I was 7 years old, when I was younger I also played tennis and I played for 5 years, but then I stopped playing. Currently, I play volleyball in my school team. Besides sports, I like baking, although I’m not very good at it, but I like it. In my free time I usually watch series or movies, now I’m watching a series called Gossip Girl, or if not I also like to hang out with my friends, we usually go for a walk or to the cinema, I have a great time when I’m with them.

I also like to do activities with my family, like playing board games. And lastly, I love to travel and go to amusement parks.

My favourite holiday of the year is Christmas, I enjoy it a lot, because I’m with my family and I have a great time. But my favourite season is summer because of the vacations. I love travelling on summer.

And finally, what I hope to get out of this experience is obviously to improve my English, and also to get rid of the embarrassment of speaking English in front of people, and my aim is to enjoy this opportunity as much as possible.
