LETTER FROM Yanisa

Yanisa

Hi! My name is Yanisa. You can also call me Parn. I am living in a city in Thailand with my family. There are my mother, father, younger sister and me. There are many things I like to do on the weekend. Firstly, I usually visit my grandmother because I’m very close to her. She is the main part of my childhood and I love her so much. Secondly, I spend some of my free time on shopping at the malls as you might know that the weather in Thailand is very hot. The last thing I like to do on weekend is taking a short trip to natural places like beaches and mountains which always bring me happiness and joy.

When I go to school, my father usually drops me at skytrain which is the most popular transportation here. I go to school by myself because it is convenient, and my school is not so far from the skytrain. I love to go to school because I like to study Math and Arts and I want to meet my friend.

As some people told me that I am out-going, caring and talkative girl. I think these words would be the best to define who I am. I have numerous interests and free time activities such as cooking, watching movies, caring my puppy, drawing and painting. Whenever I have a lot of free time particularly during weekend I help my mother clean the room, prepare meal, wash dishes and help my father wash the car.

I am interested in travelling. I like to go to Disneyland and collect Disney doll such as Rapunzel, Little Mermaid, Micky Mouse and Toy Story. I like to travel around the world. When I was fourteen, I went to Hong Kong. It was my first time that I went aboard. I was excited. For the second time I went to Japan. I went to sight-seeing. There are a lot of stunning views. It was absolutely touching. I had many good experiences. I hope I will get to learn culture, experience and speak English better when I’m with host family.

By the end of this letter, I hope that I would have a wonderful time during my exchange year with host family. I’m appreciated and thankful for the kindness of host family. I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon.
