Hello, my name is Yujin and my English name is Chloe.

I am 16 years old and from Korea. There are four family members in my family; dad, mom and twin sister. I’m close to my twin sister. We do various things together. my mother is a good listener that’s why I like to talk with my mom.

My personality is active and I like hanging out with my friends. I want to make many friends even when I go to America. I usually travel a lot with my family. We travel to many different countries together. When I was 6 years old, I went to Philippines kindergarten for 6 months, and when I was 9 and 12, I went back to Philippines again to increase my English skill. I believe I was good an English then, but now I forgot.

Usually, we ski in winter. In the summer, we go surfing, swimming pool, and play at amusement parks. And I also have PADI (skin scuba license). I once went down to 30 meters deep and saw the shipwreck. Our family will visit Germany and Switzerland some time in the future I look forward to it very much.

Besides Philippines, I visited Japan twice, Philippines, Guam, Sydney and Mongolia. I remember having a hard time in Mongolia, because of different culture, so I remember Mongolia specifically very much. After traveling a lot, I became curious and realized that I want to experience more through other parts of the world. So, I visited Sydney. We traveled for 10 days and I went to English academy by myself for 6 weeks. I met many different friends. I still miss my friends from Sydney. During that time, I experienced many things like canoeing or snorkeling. After these experiences I decided to apply for the public exchange student program.

I like to talk to with my family. I like sports so much that I enjoy playing badminton, basketball, dodgeball, etc. with my friends. Currently, I am learning a martial art called Hapkido. It’s been almost a year since I started. For musical instrument, I like to play the guitar. I practice during the break time. I love dancing and singing as well, so I always participate in talent shows.

I really like fruits like banana, watermelon and mango. I don’t like seafood because I don’t like raw things. I also like dogs and cats. Unfortunately. I don’t have one because my dad really doesn’t like a pet.

Through the exchange student program, I want to experience various things through the new environment by making various friends.
