| Dear my future host family, My name is Yu Sun and I’m really happy to write to you! I like meeting a lot of people and participating in festival or events. Also, I usually try to look at a brighter side when I think about something, and when I learn something new, I always have a goal, and I try my best at most things. I’ve tried ice skating, climbing, swimming, basketball, and even Hapkido (Korean Martial Arts), etc. About food, I love vegetables and fruits, but not mushrooms or seafood. My favorite food is pasta and fried rice. I really like the color green, so my pencil case is color green as well. I like listening to music, especially Benson Boone’s songs like “Before You”, “In The Star”, and “GHOST TOWN”. I also like to play sports. I like going to school because I can do school activities with my friends. During breaks, I spend time with friends talking to each other, and after lunch, I read books in the library every day. My favorite subject is language, I’m good at science and physical education. Outside of school, I like going to the movies with my family. I sometimes bake cookies, and this weekend I’m planning to bake muffins. I have a good relationship with my family and we recently went to Boracay. I had a great time scuba diving with my dad and sister, and we even got a second license. It was very hard but I saw wonderful sceneries under the sea. I have a twin sister who is a minute younger. We are best friends and support each other and share concerns. She’s applying for the exchange student program too! I’m not sure if Myers-Briggs test is still a thing in America, but in Korea, everyone is still talking about it. My type is ENFJ, which represents being an extrovert and sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, but I’m not that outgoing. I really want to learn about different cultures and global community and spend time with friends from many countries through this program.
