My experience has made me realize how important family is

Hi, my name is Capucine. I moved to America 7 months ago to live a new experience and to discover a new culture and language.

My time here in Florida, has been amazing so far. I’ve been in a great host family and a great school. I’ve done lots of new things to learn more about America.

My experience has made me realize how important family is and has also taught me how to handle situations by myself. For example, trying out for a high school sports team is stressful, but in the end you meet new people. It made me change myself a lot too, because being so far from your parents makes you realize lots of things about life.

This is why I’ve loved it so far!
