| Dear host family, I’m Lira and I’m from Barcelona. My family is formed by my dad, Jose Antonio, my mum, Yolanda, my sister, Vega and my two cats, Sia and June. We like to spend time together going out on excursions, making plans with friends, going to the cinema, playing board games together, etc. I would describe myself as a loving, empathetic and sociable person. I love meeting new people and having new experiences.I would consider that one of my strengths is being able to solve my problems and always try to help others and weaknesses is that I am a perfectionist, I don’t like it when things don’t turn out the way I would like. One of my favorite things to do is playing the guitar. I’ve received classes since I was little and I hope I can continue playing when I’m older. I also practice pádel. I started this year but I really like it. In my free time I like to read books, watch movies with humor and horror themes, and go out with my friends, we like to go shopping, eat out in restaurants, have sleepovers and do other fun activities together. My favorite foods are: bolognese pasta, pizza, chinese food…. My favorite holiday is Christmas. I like to spend it with my family and have Christmas sleepovers with my friends in wich we watch christmas movies and bake cookies With this experience I hope to improve my English level and to live a new experience away from my family and friends to learn to face my problems on my own and be more independent and self-sufficient.
