Dear host family,

My name is Anton and I am 16 years old.

I live with my parents, my sister Leni and our dog Jackson in Munich. I have a pretty good relation to all of them – especially with my sister. She is 17 years old and doing her high school diploma. Because we have a similar friend group, we do a lot of things together, for example playing tennis or going skiing. Besides my sister I often play tennis with my dad. Of course, I also have a lot of things in common with my mom. We love to cook and bake together. But most of my love belongs to my dog Jackson. I often train him new tricks and we often go for huge walks.

I would consider me as a good student, but I mostly I meet my friends after school. If my friends would describe me, they would probably say, that I am very funny – I always find something to laugh about. Also, I am responsible, which I learned from my mini job as a tennis coach. For this job, I often have to organize things, pay attention to the children, teach them the right technic and of course be a serious but nice contact person for the parents.

I always have an opinion on quite everything. Most people like that about me because through that I am very interested, open and talkative, but at the same time people sometime feel offended.

Experiencing new things, countries and cultures, is the reason why I love to travel with my family. Last Summer we have actually been to America. But we have also seen parts of Asia, north Africa and Europe. In addition, I also like the small adventures I go on with my friends, for example wild water rafting and going to the Oktoberfest here in Munich.

As I already mentioned, I am a huge fan of tennis. I watch it, teach it and of course play it. I practice multiple times a week and play tournaments on the weekends.

My sister and I also go skiing, which we both love.

On top of that, I played the piano for around 5 years, but I had to give it up half a year ago because of my new schedule.

When I was in the US I ate a lot of Burgers and Pizza and I really loved it. But as I said, I love cooking with my mom so I also really enjoy homemade food, as Spaghetti Bolognese, Wraps and Curry.

My hopes for next year are that I improve my English and that I get to know America better, because I really liked it on my vacation. To accomplish that I hope that I get a lot of friends and that I can integrate fast in your family.
