I’m Guy! your future exchange student!
First, I wanted to tell you a bit about my family. I have 1 younger Brother (Ron), so it’s me, my brother, and my parents. We also have 2 cute bunnies! their names are Poofy and Ponpona. I love spending time with my family especially playing together the game “Katan” (an entertaining board game), usually we play it on the weekends, for hours. Additionally, I also like playing video games with my brother, especially Minecraft and Roblox.
I am an ambitious and hard-working person. I value academic validation as one of the most important things for me, and I always put maximum effort into getting my targeted test scores. Since I was little I always stayed active, whether if it’s by doing sports (I was training in Gymnastics for 6 years) doing volunteer work or even studying. Anything I do is important to me and failing or even not getting or achieving exactly what I planned would always seem like a failure to me, this makes me anxious. I work on that all the time and I did get many tools to reduce this anxiousness and not be worried so much about my tasks, goals, and duties which I apply in my everyday life.
In my free time, I love baking, cooking, watching movies and TV shows, playing board and video games, and studying. Sushi is my favorite food, I love it so much! When I was in Japan a few months ago almost all I ate was sushi and it was so good!! One of my favorite holidays is “Novy God” in Russian which means “New Year” and it’s very similar to Christmas but instead of celebrating religious matters, it is a public holiday that celebrates the new year, as the name implies. You might be wondering why I celebrate this holiday, well the reason for that is that most of my family is of East European descent, and that is also the reason I can speak Russian!
I am looking forward to this experience so much, and I hope to gain more English language skills, meet many new people, make new friends, immerse myself in the American culture, and try many new foods!!!
Can’t wait to meet you!
