Dear Host Family,

My name is Jesse, and I am 15 years old. I am writing to you because I would love to be part of your family for half a year. I am very excited about the chance to live in America and learn more about your culture.

I want to tell you a little bit about myself. I really enjoy being outside and staying active. My favorite hobbies are playing soccer, surfing, and skiing. Whether I’m on the soccer field, at the beach, or in the mountains, I love spending time in nature.

I also love spending time with my family. We often do outdoor activities together, and I really enjoy these moments because they bring us closer. I hope to have similar experiences with your family too.

One of the main reasons I want to come to America is that I find your culture very interesting. I believe that living in a new country is the best way to learn about its lifestyle, traditions, and values. I also want to improve my English because it’s such a cool language and very useful for meeting people from around the world.

This exchange program is a great opportunity for me to grow and learn. I am excited to face new challenges and to experience life in a different environment. I believe this will help me become even more independent and open-minded.
