Dear host family,

I am so excited to begin this new adventure. I believe this is a very enriching opportunity that will help me, not only with my English , but also with my personal growth.

I live in Madrid, Spain. I am currently in my third year of high school (9th grade). I am passionate about the sea and all nature in general and in my free time I love fishing, snorkelling, playing basketball, and when I can, skiing.

I practise basketball at school with my team and we participate in tournaments and the league. On the weekend, I go fishing with my parents and my brother to a lake near our house. In winter I used to go skiing with my family and some friends.

I love playing with my brother Samuel, who is 12 years old, he is really my best friend since we have the same interests and hobbies and I also like spending time with my family. I am very open minded, I very much like traveling and to know new cultures and countries. I eat every kind of food, but not spicy.

My daily routine involves many different activities . I am responsible with the school duties and homework and when I have free time, I like going mountain bike with my friends or we meet each other to have fun together.

My expectations for this year are living a nice experience and to learn more about the culture and traditions of the U.S.A, especially the daily life of an American Family. I would love to become a part of your family.
