Dear family, my name is Ondrej (Andrew) and I would like to write you a short letter about myself

I come from a family of four with both my parents being in the medical field – my mother is a physiotherapist and my father a sports doctor. I also have an older brother who is a barista but hopes to own a café one day. We also have a beloved family cats named Cicin. Our parents encourage us to live a healthy lifestyle which i really enjoy and am really grateful for. Our parents also take us on vacations and many trips both abroad and locally which are always very enjoyable and bonding.

I am more of an introvert, but strangely enough I enjoy going to social events and gatherings. I do sometimes tend to be a little lazy but whenever my parents or anyone need help, I am always glad to lend a hand. Even when I experience hardships, I try to maintain a positive attitude towards everything. When it comes to my friends, I try to do something with them to stay close. Most adults I’ve met told me and my parents that I’m very polite, well-mannered and non-conflicting which I agree with.

I enjoy many activities – I regularly go to the gym, play tennis, swim, hike with my parents, ride a bike and pretty much any sport in general. What I also really enjoy is playing the piano which I’m not extra good at but I’m getting there. In my free time I read books – any type but my most read are novels and history books. One thing I find really fun and I’m good at is learning languages – I can speak pretty much fluent english, basic spanish and a little bit of french. When it comes to food I’m not really picky and I eat basically everything but if I had to pick some favorite foods of mine it would be hamburgers, pizza, schnitzel, potato salad or pudding. The list would go on for much longer but Im limited by space. If someone were to ask me for my ideal vacation destination, I would not have an answer since I like all types of terrain – beaches, mountains, hills, etc. My favorite holiday is probably Christmas because the entire family gathers together, gifts are given and its generally creates a very pleasant atmosphere.

I hope to learn and live the american culture, since everything I know is from movies and I want to experience it on my own. The US has also always been one of my favorite places I wanted to travel to and I think it will be a lifelong experience.
