Hi, I’m Joel. Let me start by saying thank you for taking your time in considering me as a candidate for being part of your family for the next months.

To start with, I’d say that live at home with three people: my mom, my dad, and my little sister. We all enjoy a good day of going shopping together, and especially like eating out. None of us are really picky eaters, so we like to try out different types of food (especially anything that has cheese on it). My mom and my dad work until around midday, so we also spend a lot of time with my grandparents.

Regarding to me, I’m usually a pretty close person; I have a close friend group of 5–6 people, a bigger circle of some more, and the rest of the people I do spent time with (classmates, etc…) I usually get along well with most of them. I’m good at school, especially math and anything related to it.

About my hobbies, I really enjoy, and still practice and compete in, artistic roller skating. I started when I was 7, and even since it’s been my sport of choice, even after trying some other ones. I also like video games, board games too (I’ve been trying to get into some tabletop RPGs like D&D), and listening to music. Furthermore, I usually listen to a bit of everything, but there’s always got to be some standouts. For me, those are Rock, Indie Rock, and Pop. Some standout artists I’ve been listening to are The Vanished People, Yonkagor, and classics like Lady Gaga and some Spanish artists.

Finally, from this experience, I’d like to make some new friends, learn about the different culture and aspects of the country, and just have great moments to remember.
