Hi future host family,

I’m going to introduce myself. I’m Daniel. I’m 14 years old. I consider myself a responsible person, a friend to my friends and sporty. I love football and I play on my local team. I also play paddle tennis, and I bike and swim.

I live with my parents and my sister. My father is a technician and works in a telecommunications company. My mother is a high school teacher. She teaches maths, physics and technology. My sister is studying Pharmacy in college. We also have a Maltese bichon called Scott who is 3 years old.

We really like travelling and getting to know other countries. This year we have been to Iceland and NY.

I’m on 9th grade. My favourite subject is technology and in the future I would like to study something related to computing. At my school we have a lot of space to play sports, we have a swimming pool and a gym. I have many friends with whom I meet on Fridays to play football, to go out for dinner or to go to the cinema too.

Last summer I spent a month with a family in Ireland and I had a great time. I went to class in the mornings and in the afternoons I did activities with the family.

At home I take care of tidying my room and setting the table. I also help with the laundry and sometimes I cook with my sister.
My favorite food is lasagna, even though I like all foods. I am not a picky eater.

I am looking forward to meeting you, showing you my culture, food, customs (festivals), and interesting places. Likewise, I would like you to show me your culture because I am very interested in it.
