Dear Host Family, my name is Jonas and I am very excited about spending my year abroad in the United States with you.

I live with my mother, father, and sister. We are a close family and enjoy spending time together, whether it’s having meals, watching movies, or going for walks in the city. They are very supportive of my hobbies, and we always make time for each other.

As for my personality, I would describe myself as responsible, hardworking, and open-minded. I am curious about new experiences and enjoy challenging myself. I love trying out new sports or activitys. I also love activitys that give me adrenaline such as driving Mountainbike.

One of my biggest passions is handball. I not only play for a local club, but I also work as a referee and co-trainer. In these roles, I help officiate matches and assist with player development, which gives me a deeper connection to the sport. Another hobby of mine is trading stocks and cryptocurrencies. I love learning about markets and finding new ways to invest smartly.

I look forward to this exchange as a chance to experience American culture, improve my English, and make lasting friendships. I am also excited to share some of my own culture with you, like cooking a traditional German meal.
