Dear host family,

I’m so excited about the idea of coming to live with you in the United States for 1 year! My name is Lucile. I’m a sporty girl, I love skateboarding and running, and I can’t wait to share my passion for sports with you. I hope we can do activities together, like going to the park or even trying new sports! In addition to being sporty, I am also very creative. I love drawing and doing art projects. I’d like to show you some of my creations and maybe even work on an overall project. I think art is a great way to connect and share our cultures.

As I am French, I would like to share with you some French traditions, such as Christmas and Easter celebrations. I’m curious to find out how you experience these moments in the United States. I am looking forward to learning English and discovering your culture. I hope we can exchange our favorite recipes and that I can introduce you to French dishes. I am also open to discovering your traditions and participating in your family activities.
