Hello, I’m Almudena, otherwise everyone calls me Almu. I’m 14 years old (turning 15 in April) and I would like to become an exchange student in the USA.

First of all, I would like to talk about my family. My dad, Ismael, is a firefighter (he rescats cats). He loves doing sport, just like me, that’s the reason why we are always arguing about who’s better. My mum, Lourdes, is an economist. She loves reading ( my favourite hobbit) and baking, I always try to help her, nevertheless she doesn’t let me sometimes. My brother, Ismael junior, is 17 so he is studying a lot because next year he goes to the university. He is very noisy, we spend very funny moments every day though.

I’m a little nervous, that’s why I love learning new things and do different activities. I’ve practice paddle, swimming and now I’m practicing volleyball. I used to play the piano for 7 years and go to languages classes. I would say that I’m responsible with my studies, although later I love going out with my friends, watching a film with my parents, visit my grandma’s or just playing volleyball in the park with some of my friend. In my holydays, my favourite activity is travelling, I’ve travelled Mexico, France, England, Holland…

I’ve always dreamt about studying on another country for learning the language, their traditions and their culture, and share with them mine, that’s why I chose the USA when my parents gave me the choice to study out of Spain, I’ll love to enjoy the festivities, just like Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving, the typical sports and their Reese’s.
