Hi! My name is Carolina, and I am so excited about the opportunity to spend a semester in the United States. I’d love to share a little bit about who I am, my personality, my hobbies and my life back home, so you can get to know me better before we meet in person.

First of all, I would describe myself as a cheerful, friendly and thoughtful person. I love meeting new people and I always try to see the positive side of things. My friends often say that my smile is contagious, and I take that as a big compliment! At the same time, I appreciate having meaningful conversations with those around me.

When it comes to my interests, I love travelling, visiting new places and going to the beach. Then I am passionate about modern dance. Dancing it’s something that brings me great joy. Another passion of mine is cooking, especially baking, I love creating delicious desserts for my family and friends. I also like listening to music, shopping, watching series and movies, reading, doing sports and I love dogs!

I love beach holidays and visiting cities. My favorite food is pizza, then I really like pasta, meat and strawberries.

Back home I have a close-knit family, we spend a lot of time together and we talk a lot. My family consists of my mom, my dad, my brother and my sister, both older than me. My siblings and I are very close, we often play games together or help each other out with various things, and my parents and I also have a wonderful relationship. I also have a dog, Rocky, and I love spending time playing with him.

In my free time I love being with my friends. We enjoy doing various activities together, from exploring shops in town to playing board games at home. Sometimes we simply go to a café and spend time chatting together, it’s these little moments that I treasure the most. I hope to make similar connections during my time in the U.S. and have beautiful experiences that will remain in my memories.
