| Dear host family! My name is Daniela, and I am excited at the opportunity to introduce myself to your wonderful family. I am from Sant Feliu de Llobregat, a little town close to Barcelona, a place rich in culture and traditions. I am 15 years old. I live with my dad, Diego, my mom, Beatriz and my little brother Oliver. I love to spend time with them. When I grow up, I want to become a lawyer, and afterward, I plan to pursue a master’s degree in criminology. When I was little, I used to swim, I learned to swim in a club and now I like to swim in the beach with my friends. I like to play padel with my mom (a sport similar to tennis). I started going to Crossfit with my dad, but it was really hard. I love also going with my family by bike. Sometimes we go to the beach by bike and then we spend all day there. I love it. I would like to try new sports there. I love summer and for its warm weather, to enjoy outdoor activities. I love to be tanned because of the sun and going to Costa Brava (a beach near Barcelona) with my family. There I find my place to read and relax. I also like to watch Barça’s matches and obviously see Barça winning. I have a lot of friends, but my best friends are Miriam and Julia. They are two important people for me, we enjoy spending time together and doing activities such as seeing movies, trying new restaurants… We used to have great times together. My favorite place is my grandparents’ town, Vera de Moncayo, a very little town. We go there once a month and during summer holydays. I have a group of friends there and we hang out every time we can. In Vera there is a traditional summer celebration and takes place for a full week in August. We used to throw tomatoes each other like in “Tomatina”. Very fun times. I consider myself a sociable person, funny and respectful. My dreams are to volunteer in Africa and contribute to helping people. During my stay, I look forward to not only being a guest but a genuine member of your family. I am open minded to new experiences. I hope to foster meaningful connections, contribute positively to the household and learn more about your daily routines and traditions.
