My name is Erlantz. I am 16 years old. I live in Germany with my mom and my younger sister. The rest of my family lives in Spain, but we often go there to visit them. Sometimes my grandparents come to Germany and stay here for two weeks, but mostly, we go to Spain and visit them when we have holidays. I love being with my grandparents and spending time together. My grandma and I often cook together she teaches me how to make many dishes, especially Spanish food. With my granddad, I often go to his garden, and we make tomato sauce together, for example, because they have a small harvest with many vegetables. I also love spending time with my mom and my sister. Sometimes we play board games together or do things with my friends.

I am a very friendly and funny person. I can identify problems myself and solve them on my own. I am also good with technical things since I have a technology course at school. I’m good with numbers, although I don’t particularly like math, it doesn’t come hard to me. I’m also a very family-oriented person; I love doing things with my family and spending time with them. I am also a very tidy person. I like it when everything is clean and in its place. I also think of myself as a social person; I always help others when they need it. I have many strengths as well as weaknesses. For example, my strengths include being good with numbers, taking care of myself, and finding it important to look after myself. I can cook well, I don’t just care about myself but also about the well-being of others, and many other things. As for my weaknesses, I find it hard to learn new languages. I’m also a person who is not very direct because sometimes I’m shy.

I love doing sports. My favorite sport is soccer. I have been playing soccer since I was young. I also played handball for a long time, but then I lost interest and focused only on soccer. Sometimes I also go outside with my friends, and we play basketball together, but I have never played on a basketball team. My friends and I also play video games together on the PC. I also like eating and trying new dishes. One of my favorite dishes is paella. I also like eating fast food, and I love eating sushi. Sometimes, when it is a special day, my mom, my sister, and I go to a restaurant and eat sushi. I also love traveling to other countries. Last year, we were in Thailand for two weeks that was so beautiful. We also went to Vietnam, which was also very nice. Another destination we visited was Egypt. In Egypt, there were a lot of dirty places but also beautiful ones. But my favorite travel destination is Spain, where I visit my grandparents and friends. We also have many family traditions. My favorite one is when the whole family is together, and we eat grapes during the last 12 seconds of the year and then celebrate the new year.

I hope that my English gets better so that I can talk to someone without first thinking about how I need to build my sentence. I also hope that my English pronunciation gets better so that people can understand me more easily. I am also very interested in seeing the USA and learning about a new culture. I also hope to become more confident and learn to live without my mom next to me because that’s very important for the moment when I leave my mom’s house to go to university.
