Hello, I am Henri, a 15-year-old from Oldenburg, Germany. Currently, I reside with my parents and my brother, along with our lively companions – three budgies and a rabbit. Our household is filled with joy, especially when we engage in activities like playing board games or participating in sports, such as skiing during holidays or cheering for our favorite soccer teams together. I also have a deep fondness for animals.

In terms of my personality, I consider myself to be quite helpful and good with people. I am driven, ambitious, and always curious to learn new things thats also what I hope for my year abroad. In the morning I prefer to eat toast or cereals to start my day well. I may come across as shy initially, but once you get to know me, you’ll find a more outgoing side. On the culinary front, I admit to being a bit picky, but I am open to trying new things. Pancakes and chicken with rice are among my favorite dishes.

My interests span a wide spectrum – from actively participating in various sports like soccer and volleyball to enjoying the strategic challenges of video games like FIFA. My dream would be to play soccer at a high school. Currently, I am gearing up for a significant adventure – a year abroad in the USA. This decision is driven by my desire to step out of my comfort zone, embrace new experiences, and grow personally. I’ve heard positive feedback about this journey from my brother, who found it to be a transformative and enriching experience.

I am eager to become a part of your family, share my culture, and learn from yours. The prospect of immersing myself in a new environment, meeting new people, and creating lasting memories is something I am genuinely excited about.
