My family and I went to Lansing to see the hot air Ballons in my first week in the USA. It was so much fun and I also feel like it was kind of bonding… I got to know my family a little bit more, and I really appreciate that I have them and that they’re trying to make my exchange year unforgettable :))

And this weekend my host dad took me and my host sister to the castle farms. And on our way back we went to see Charlevoix, which look soooo pretty when it’s fall. After he took us to the Fisherman’s Island state park and I touched Lake Michigan for the first time, we looked at the mushroom horses and the stone horses. It was a great trip.
