Hello dear host family,

My name is Isabel and i’m 15 years old. My birthday is on 20th February. I live in a small town with my parents and my older sister, but now, she is at the university and she only comes home on weekends. My family is the most important thing on my life. We’re a very adventurous family and we love to travel. So far we have been in five different countries. We have a very close relationship with each other and together we are the best team. My mother and my sister are like my best friends. My father is the best person i know and he has a lot of skills. I consider myself a friendly, outgoing, empathetic and very sociable girl. I’am really self-demanding and perfecionist. And also, i can be very impatient. I’am not competitive at all and i adapt to most things.

I play basketball, which is my favourite sport. I really like cooking and trying new things of food. I used to paint with watercolours a few years ago, and i was very good at it, but now, i have almost no time to do it. i enjoy nature very much and my favourite activities are the one that we can make outdoors. I use my mobilephone a lot and this is a habit i would improve. I love travelling and meeting new people. My favourite place is the sea and the beach and i consider it as my safe place. I would like to learn how t surf, as I don’t live near the beach and have never been able to do it. I also love skiing and i would like improve on it.

I like to eat everything, but if i had to say some food that i like the most were cheese and pasta. My favourite holidays are Christmas, beacuse that is when family and friends get together and here i’m the happiest person in the world.

I’m going on this exchange program because i would like meet new people and their culture, to know how they live in other places and to experience their traditions up close. English is my favourite language, and even tough i still don’t speak it very well , would love to be able to master it. That’s what I hope to get out of this experience.
