Dear family,

My family consists of my parents and an older brother. We don’t have pets but I like animals, last year we even took in a 4 year old male Border Collie dog named Max for a month. It was a very enriching experience for the whole family, since we all had some tasks assigned to him, I really enjoyed his company, the ball throwing games with him or the walks.

I am excited for the opportunity to live this experience with you in the United States and I want to share a little more about who I am. I am a boy with an open and happy character. I have always considered myself an optimistic person with a positive attitude towards life. I enjoy every moment and always try to spread that joy to those around me. Generosity and empathy are two values that I consider essential. I am always willing to help others and offer my support in any situation. However, it is also important to mention that I am a sensitive person. Sometimes emotions can affect me intensely, causing me to be understanding and attentive to the feelings of others, but I may also need time to process my own emotions.

I practice table tennis, which fills me with excitement and fun. The speed, precision and strategy that this sport requires make it truly exciting. I participate in a territorial league and I have participated in the Catalan, Spanish and International championships. What I enjoy most about this sport is the feeling of competing, constantly improving and, of course, the moments of joy when I score a good point or win a close match and the teamwork with my teammates.
I really like meeting friends to take a walk around the city, visit interesting places or simply chat and laugh together. I really enjoy celebrating birthdays and the different holidays: Sant Joan (beginning of summer), Halloween and Christmas. I also enjoy when I travel with my family (parents, uncles and my grandmother) when the course ends, since we take a trip to a European capital.
As for my favorite foods, you could say that any type of pasta is my weakness. Whether it’s spaghetti, lasagna, ravioli, or macaroni and cheese, I can’t resist a good plate of pasta. Additionally, preparing a delicious pasta meal is one of the activities I enjoy if I can share it with friends and family.

Ultimately, I am excited for the opportunity to live this experience with your family and share unforgettable moments. I hope that we can create a strong and lasting connection and that this experience is enriching for both your family and me, for me it will be very enriching to be able to deepen my knowledge of English and learn a new culture so closely and for you because I could teach you the customs from my country.
