Dear Host Family,

My name is Julia and I’m 14 years old. I live in Spain, in a big city near the ocean, Barcelona. I come from a big family, we are 5 members: my parents, my younger and older brothers and me. My mum’s name is Sylwia, she is 46 years old and she is from Poland. My dad’s name is Daniel and he is 48 years old. My little brother David is 5 and and my older brother Gabriel is 16. Currently we don’t have any pets, a few years ago we had a hamster during 3 years named Mochi, but he passed away. I love spending time with my family. For example hiking in the mountains, traveling, going for a walk around the city or staying at home watching a film or series.

I am an extrovert person, but most of the time it’s just when I catch confidence. I am friendly, fun and I consider myself mature. I also have some weaknesses, like sometimes I am not very organized or I can get angry at things, but I always try to improve. I love playing sports, my favorites are horse riding, because since I was very little I adored animals, and principally doing track and field. Apart from this I like a lot clothes shopping, make up, skincare… My favorites foods are sushi, pasta carbonara and meat. And I love summer and Christmas.

I would like to live in US for a year to learn american culture, which I always found interesting and I would love to train track in american High School. Also gain english skills and I hope to become more mature in all aspects, be independent and be able to have a new life.
