LETTER FROM Julia

Julia

Hello,
I come from the south of Spain, I´m a lovely person and also a little shy until I gain confidence, smiley, a bit impatient and I care a lot about the people of my enviroment, empathetic. I´m a little negative and a bit insecure of myself but I have a good sense of humor. I am studying 9th grade and my favorite subject is History.
In the weekends I meet with my friends: I go shopping, I go to the City Centre and, in summer, I usually go to the beach. I like to practice paddle surf.
From monday to friday I get up early in the morning, about 7:30 and I go to school. In the afternoon I go to ballet classes on monday and on wednesday. On Tuesday and on Thursday I go to an English academy.
My father is an industrial engineer and my mother is a lawyer. My brother is in seventh grade and is twelve years old. I get along very well with them, especially with my brother.
Among my hobbies I´ve been doing ballet since I was five years old, I like running, listen to music, meet with my friends, travelling, fashion, make up, family activities and many more, my favourite foods are pasta, salad, pizza, burguers, omelette… My favourite time is Christmas and the Holy Week that is a week in which thrones come out along certain routes and it is very famous, especially in my city.
I hope to learn new cultures, new lenguage, new traditions and show them my cultures and traditions and tipical food of my city and cook it for them.
I also would love to make new friends in the High School and getting on well with my host family. I would like learning another ways of teaching too.
Thank you for hosting me and I would like us to get along and I promise to teach you the tipical food of my country, my culture and more things. See you soon!

Julia
