Dear host Family,

My name is Laura and I will be 16 when I arrive. I live with my two parents and may older brother. My mom is 53 years old. She’s very kind and she cooks really well. It’s fun when we do puzzle together. My dad is turning 59 in August, and he is very fun even with his dad’s jokes. My brother will be 20 in June, his name is Nicolas. I like to play video games with him. We have a cat, Salsa. She is very cute.

I think I am a very creative person. I am also a Kind person. I talk a lot, sometimes too much. I am kinda messy. I care a lot about other people and I am very curious. I want to know a lot of thigs. I don’t know if it has something to do with my personality but, I like pale yellow, light pink and white. Maybe it says something. I may talk a lot, but I listen a lot too.

My favorite sports are ice skating and dancing. I find these so cool and cool to express things. I like to draw, read, go outside and bake. I love baking, like cookies or cinnamon rolls. My favorite book is “the cruel prince” by Holly Black. It’s a fantasy novel and it’s incredible. I am a scout girl, I love to be a scout because it’s so much fun. My favorite meals are lasagna, Bolognese pasta, ramen and gyozas. I love to discover new things. I don’t really have a favorite tradition but I like Christmas and Easter because I am with my family.

I hope that with this year I will be fluent in English and that my language level will improve I also hope that I will become more confident with myself. I can’t wait to go in the USA and meet a lot of people.

For my host family, I just hope they will be nice and I will have the best year of my life.
