Dear future host family,

I hope this letter will help you get to know me.

Let me tell you about my family. My mom is 46 years old, and my dad is 43. They are amazing parents who always support me and my 18-year-old brother. My brother is finishing school and preparing for university, while I’m still in high school. We also have a dog named Chilli, who is the heart of our family. We love spending time together, whether it’s going for walks, playing with Chilli, or just enjoying a quiet evening at home. Our house is always full of love and great moments.

I’m a 15-year-old girl who loves learning and discovering new things. I enjoy being organized because it helps me stay on top of everything. People often say I’m funny, and I love making others laugh with my jokes and stories. My favorite moments are when I can mix creativity with learning, like working on school assignments in unique ways.

I’m girl with a big passion for sports and staying active. I’ve always loved challenging myself physically and mentally. For seven years, I trained in gymnastics, which taught me discipline, strength, and flexibility. After that, I spent a year learning self-defense, which was both empowering and practical. I also tried athletics for a year. These days, I’ve been hitting the gym regularly. I see it as more than just exercise, it’s a way to invest in my future, I’m excited to see where it will take me. Aside from sports, I absolutely love cooking and baking. There’s something so satisfying about creating delicious meals and desserts. It’s one of my favorite ways to express my creativity.

I hope that I will gain new experiences about Americans and their lifestyle and culture. I want to try their food. I hope my English will improve.

I am looking forward to my new family and hope that we will have good times together and I will help with housework and cooking. We can learn something from each other, e.g. I can bake gingerbread cookies for Christmas, so I´ll bring you a bit of Slovak cuisine.
