LETTER FROM Luise Mariane

Luise Mariane

Hello future host family,

I am Luise Mariane, 15 years old, from Brazil. I live with my cousin, Sara, and my parents come to visit every week. I am the oldest of my siblings, Arthur (12 years old) and Lara (2 years old), my dad is called Francieudo and my mom is Marina. We have three dogs, Meg (Pitbull), Eike (shiatzu), and Heidi (German Spitiz).

I love to travel, go to restaurants in family, in Brazil whenever you turn 15 years old it is common to celebrate with a big party or a trip, for my birthday we travel together for a month in the south of Brazil. Besides living in a beach city, I do not really enjoy the beach that much, I am rather a mall person.

I would describe myself as creative, calm, perceptive, and sociable, I could sometime be a bit impatient, although I am always trying to help whoever is around me if I can. I am a goal-oriented person that knows what want. My favorite sports are ice skating and gymnastics, I would love to start practicing them, in Brazil I play volleyball. To relax, my hobby is listing to music, I enjoy all sorts of music, however, my favorite singers are Lana Del Rey and Avril Lavigne, I like to watch series and reality shows… but my favorite reality is Keeping up with the Kardashians. In my year in the US I would love to go to concerts.

I love Brazilian food like “cuscuz”, “feijoada” and “brigadeiro”, i also like Japanese and Italian food (sushi, pasta and pizza). My favorite holiday is Christmas because we exchange gifts and get together as a family. On this trip, I hope to improve my English, get to know new cultures, live a new experience, learn about different behaviors, meet people, and discover myself professionally and personally, thank you for reading this letter hope to hear for you soon.
