Dear future host family,
my family contains of 5 people. My 2 older brothers (21,19) and my parents (53,53). I also have a dog. His breed is a cockapoo and he is almost 4. My family owns a horse whose name is Louis and he is 8. I love spending time with my family because we have a really close bond. My brothers and I have always gotten along really well. In my family we support each other but also tell each other the truth even if it hurts sometimes. We are honest with each other and get through everything together.
I care about other people but I know when my opinion is important for the good of my health. My strengths are that I have a straight mind. When I set my mind onto something I will probably not stop until I succeed. I am good at connecting to other people because I am an open person. I am loving and understanding. My weaknesses are that sometimes when I get hurt by someone I tend to kind of block. I am able to then quickly forgive. Sometimes I can be a tough nut to crack. I have really good communication.
I have been riding horses for a long time. A month ago I stopped because the horse I rid got sold but I wanna start again. Once a week I take single singing classes because I love music and my mother sung when I was a kid. A little while ago I started going to the gym because I want to stay fit. I love spending time with people I love. My favorite food is lasagna (cooked by my dad). I love burgers because I think they are genius and delicious in any form they come. My family goes skiing every year which I love. I first started skiing when I was about 4/5 and have done so every year since. I love the fresh air and the mountains. My favorite family tradition is “engagement dinner”. It happens once a year on the day my parents got engaged. My father cooks the 4 course meal for us that he cooked for only my mother back then.
I hope to gain a lot of new experiences. I would like to see what life is like in another family on another continent. To experience different traditions (like thanksgiving etc.). I hope I will grow from this experience.
