| Dear host family I live together with my parents and my 17 years old sister Anna. I really enjoy spending time with them, for example going swimming or hiking. We have a cat named Coco who is 9 years old. I like it when he comes to my room to lay down and hopes to be petted. I also play with him outside in our garden. I am good at editing videos, as well as recording and preparing music. I like playing soccer and watching sports. However, sometimes I take on too much and do not continue with all activities that I have started. I’m not very good at cooking/baking. My favourite sport is soccer. I played in the local soccer club as a goalkeeper. Every now and then I go to the stadium to watch a live match of my favorite club of the German soccer league. I also love playing video games. My favorite food is pizza, goulash and chicken nuggets. My favorite holiday season is Christmas which we usually celebrate as a family with my grandparents and my uncle. I hope to get to know your family, to have a great year abroad in my new high school and to get to know life and culture of the USA. I would like to develop my language skills in English, and to spend a nice time in the USA! Thank you in advance for making this experience possible. |
