| Dear host family My name is Raffaella and I’m a girl from Italy, I live with my mom but I spend a lot of time with my grandfather and my uncles. I really love spending time with my mom, sometimes we go to the city centre together for some shopping, at home we spend a short time together because i come home late from school, but when we have time we like to play cards, watch movies, and read books together. Our family tradition is that every Sunday I have lunch with my mom and my grandfather, and after lunch I love playing cards with him. When I got time I visit my aunt in her shop for some chat about everything. I’m a really cheerful girl, open to everything, I’m very respectful about rules and the space near me, I’m optimistic and really like to have fun. My weakness is that sometimes I become shy, when I have a bad day or if something goes wrong. My biggest strengths are that I’m really independent, I fit in every situation, I’m humble and I’m calm. I adore keeping my time busy with different activities, like some hobbies or school afternoon courses. I like reading, playing cards, making jewelry, listening to music, watching movies and taking photos. At school I study cinema so I really like everything about this topic and I also like learning new languages, at school I study Arabic. Some of my favourite foods are chocolate, sushi, and tortellini. My favorite trips are when I went to Los Angeles in 2022 with my mom, when I went to London for a school trip last year and when I went to New York with my mom and my grandparents in 2014. From this experience I hope to gain a new type of independence by leaving my usual routine and create another one in a different place.
