Dear host family,

I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Sandra. I’m 14 years old and I’m from Valencia, Spain. I’m very excited to have the opportunity to be a part of your family during my stay in the United States and I would like to use this time to tell you a little about myself and why I want to have this experience.

I’m a curious, friendly and responsible person. My interests are cooking, skiing and being with my family and friends. I’m also very interested to learn about new cultures and improve my level of English, so I think living with you will be an excellent opportunity to do it.

At home, I have a very close relationship with my family and I liked helping with the housework. I’m a polite respectful person and I’m committed to contribute positively to the family dynamics during my stay with yourselves.

I’m very excited to know about the daily life in the United States and learn about your culture and customs and of course create unforgettable memories with yourselves. I’m sure this experience will not only help me grow as a person but also open new ways to see the world.
