Dear Host Family,
My name is Sofia, and I’m excited to introduce myself! I live in a small town near Milan. I have an older brother named Francesco, who has already completed an exchange year abroad. His experience really brought us closer, and I’m grateful for that.
My parents are very supportive, and I can talk to them about anything without feeling judged. I spend time with them after school and during dinner, but on weekends, I often hang out with my friends. However, we do enjoy family meals together sometimes!
I play volleyball three times a week and have matches on the weekends. I love the sport and the friendships I’ve built through it. I started playing seven years ago, after five years of dancing.
At school, I study human sciences, including psychology and sociology, which I really enjoy. I find these subjects much more engaging than math, where I struggle a bit. I have a good rapport with my classmates, and I think my sociable nature helps me make friends easily.
In my free time, I love spending time with friends who share my passion for experiences and who support me during tough times. I often call them to study together or just chat about life.
I’m truly grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to meet you all soon!
Warm wishes,
Sofia
