Hello!

My name is Stefanie and I´m from Austria and I want to do my exchange in the US.

My family contains of my father, my mother and my younger brother. We have two cats, whose names are Freddie and Locki. I love it to spend time with my family, because they are one of the most important people in my life and they support me in my dreams. In the evening, we often watch a film together and talk about our days and other things. Me and my brother sometimes sing to random songs after school, just because it´s funny, even though both us aren´t the best singers.

I am an exact and determinate person who knows what she wants. I am also responsible, reliable and punctual, but sometimes I am a little bit sloppy and sometimes I don´t do my chores. And I am sometimes a little bit impatient. I also have many interests in different things and I am eager to learn new things, but also consistent. Important is, that I am very mature for my age and I sympathize easily with other people.

One of my favorite hobbies is playing the flute, but I also love it to go skiing in the winter. Another thing that I love to do is to meet up with my friends and have fun together. I am also a volunteer at my local fire station. (The system is different in Austria than the US).
My favorite food is Sushi, but I also love pasta, lasagna, tiramisu and Schnitzel, which is a typical Austrian food. I really loved my vacation to Croatia this year where we went sailing, but I also love our holidays where we go skiing for few days. My favorite tradition is Christmas, because we wake up on 24th of December and my brother, my father and I go with my cousins and uncle go to thermal bath, while my mother prepares our food for the evening. After we come home, we go to church and after that we have dinner and unpack our present, which are under the Christmas tree.

I want to improve my English skills, but I also want to make new friends that will last me for a lifetime. But the most important thing is, that I want to experience the American culture with my host family and that I have second family on the other side of the planet.
