LETTER FROM Tibor

Tibor

Dear Host Family,

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.

My name is Tibor, and I am 16 years old. I have a sister, a little brother, a cat, and a dog. I have a close relationship with my family, and we engage in many activities together. We enjoy swimming, hiking, and participating in sports as a family. Additionally, we love to travel to the Black Forest, a nearby large mountainous region. My family is a place where I can truly be myself.

However, I also enjoy spending time with my friends, especially those from the scouts. Scouting is my favorite hobby, and my scout group feels like a second family to me. I have been involved in scouting since I was about 7 years old, and I now lead a small group of five children. I also serve as a group leader for the altar servers and regularly attend church. Furthermore, I participate in athletics and swimming clubs, and I have a passion for playing the piano. I am also enthusiastic about science, which led me to start programming four years ago and to participate in the Science Academy of my federal state.

My strengths lie in science, my curiosity, and my interest in meeting and helping other people. As a result, I am a qualified school first aider and tutor two students from my school in mathematics. At home, I care for our dog and assist with household chores.

I am eager to embark on this exchange year to improve my English language skills and experience life in America firsthand. I am excited to meet new people, explore cities, and enjoy nature.

Thank you for considering my letter and giving me the opportunity to spend a year in America.

Sincerely, Tibor
