Dear host family,

I am very excited about the opportunity to become an exchange student and would love to introduce myself. I come from a close-knit family with my mom, dad, and older sister. I grew up surrounded by animals such as dogs and cats, so I feel very comfortable around pets. My family enjoys spending time together, whether it’s cooking, going on walks, or celebrating holidays. One of my favorite traditions is taking a walk through the city on Christmas Eve and baking holiday sweets together.

If I had to describe myself, I’d say I’m friendly, very outgoing, and always up for a fun conversation. I love being around people, making new friends, and sharing laughs. I am also quite active, as I enjoy playing sports like volleyball, badminton, and running. In the summer, I love to swim just for the fun of it. Besides sports, I enjoy reading and baking. I love to get cozy in my room with a good book and a sweet treat. Cooking isn’t as easy for me as baking is, but I am trying to get better at it. When it comes to food, I love fruit, sushi, and all kinds of pasta. I also appreciate laid-back days with my sister at the mall or when we go out for some ice cream. My favorite holiday is probably Christmas because I love the warm atmosphere and traditions that come with it. If I had to name a weakness of mine, I would say that sometimes I take on too many things at once because I love trying new things.

Through this exchange, I hope to experience a new culture, meet amazing people, and build meaningful and lifelong connections. I enjoy a welcoming and positive home environment where we can share laughs and spend quality time together. I look forward to all the experiences and memories that this opportunity will bring.
